"Blackstar?" he meowed in his clear, thrumming voice. Shadedapple padded forward gracefully, emitting the very essence of power and control through his posture and expression. "I believe we should go, for it appears Jinkoleaf has abandoned us." The cat hadn't responded to Blackstar's call, and it had been minutes. Feeling clever, he fancied that his words were coming out quite manipulative. Shadedapple looked over Blackstar's shoulder and then looked at her face. "... The time is right to strike."

Graystripe was surveying the clearing as the rain continuede to fall and couldn't suppress a mrrooww of amusement at seeing applepaw so excited and happy in the rain unlike most of the othercats

Jadestream sprang up onto her pads and trotted outside. The camp was all wet from the rain. 'Woo I love rain!!!!!!' Jadestream yelled out with no purpose whatsoever. She was oddly hyper.

Graystripe came over to see Applepaw and Rainwish and gave a tiny purrrr of happiness at seeing Applepaws excitement "I take it you like the rain" he said "perhaps you could hunt for rainwish then maybe if you do a good job she may tell you a story."

Diamondfur silently sat at the entrance of the camp thinking of the other clans. Riverclan's, Thunderclan's, Windclan's, and Shadowclan's lives had been easy. Surpluses of prey, plesent weather, healthy kits, eager apprentices, and new warriors. Diamondfur thought of how steady life had been. SHe stared at a mouse under a leaf near by. She focused on the mouse. She got into her stalk position. She stepped lightly on the ground. Surprizing enough the lightning had not sent it scurrying into its home. Diamondfur walked unnoticed forward and stoped about two taillengths away. Pin pointing its position. She was down wind, goodShe thought. She felt a rush of wind and the mouses head poped up in alarm. She pounced.

Diamondfur bit down, finally killing the prey. She turned around and saw Spottedstar. Diamondfur dipped her head in respect and pushed the prey towards her. "Hello, Spottedstar." Diamondfur greeted with a smile. The wind howled past her ears like a song, sung in a a low, pure tone.

" no, i was out hunting. why? did the patrols not return?" Diamondfur responded alittle confuised.

As Graystripe stared up at the storm he knew it was growing stronger and would be time for the noon patroll he turned and saw that thefreh kill pile was well stocked and they would be fine with the storm growing it would not be safe in the forest for much longer he gathered the fastest cats he could find and told them to go along the river and make sure no cats where there hunting then to quickly return to camp He turned toa second group and said to head along shadow clans border and rally any cats there all of them would have to come back because of the storm

Diamondfur nodded her head. Then she turned it to a question-like angle "Would you like it if i go and searched for some warriors?" She meowed offeringly. "It is starting to get worse... " she poundered off staring into the sky. Then she laughed a small laugh, "I'd sure hate to fall in the river and have to come to camp all cold and welcomed by more rain" The sky darkened to a eeri black and gray color. Diamondfur glanced alittle nervously at the entrance.

sunstar watched blackstar from a disstince "damn it thares to menny" he mumbled

"go tell spotedstar thare come graystripe" sunstar orderd "i dont want these to distroying oneanother over power"

Thistlewing blinked. "You can't be serious..." she growled, looking around her suspiciously. "Don't tell me that that arrogant tom is interfering with your plan. This is between us and RiverClan. Not ThunderClan." She craned her neck and hissed under her breath, suddenly cautious. "We need to quicken our pace," she meowed suddenly, "I'll bet you anything that they're sending cats down to Spottedstar to tell her."

Shadedapple lagged behind in the rush and stood opposite Blackstar, fairly certain that they did not know he was there. The rain ladened his pelt as more thunder and lightening came. He blinked, and then in a flurry of rain and thunder, he slipped away into the storm.
