Hollowmist dug her claws into a loose patch of soil. The dirt sifted away from her paws and went up in small translucent clouds. She sneezed abruptly. Heart beating fast and then recovering two seconds later, the tabby she-cat adjusted herself and shifted her weight. A barn cat... or a loner stood before her. They had been staring each other down until Hollowmist had sneezed. Her ungraceful demeanor did not seem of importance to the loner cat, but his eyes portrayed skepticism. Straightening up thoroughly, she meowed, "What do you want? Do you know that you are on WindClan territory? Our markers are still fresh--I guess you don't have a sense of smell." she jested the last part with a smirk. The loner cocked his head and meowed condescendingly, "Maybe it's you wh'don't have a sense of smell. This here land ain't nobodies." Hollowmist growled and rolled her eyes. "Say it with me," she began, "this...is...WindClan...territory." The trespassing cat stepped forward a few paces until he was a mouse-length away from Hollowmist. He growled, "I'd here say that this place is not yours t'keep-an'-claim." The WindClan warrior was becoming fed-up with the cat's stupidity of the Clans or borders for that matter. She hissed, "You are in the inner perimeter of WindClan. If you went over there and breathed you'd realize this easily." Hollowmist and the loner were indeed close to the border, which was where she had caught him. She just then remembered the starling she had caught and had hidden in the grass a fox-length back. Shaking it out of her mind she prepared to chase or force the barn cat out.
