My ruling is that we should enforce spell check and what we have already, like the two sentence minimum rule and whatnot. Everyone here may not be the best at English, but at least we can have the expectations up a degree so others can have an enjoyable role play experience as well ^^ I say, not too strict, but have rules. Yes, people are trying to have fun, but you cannot tell me that we'd ruin their experience just by saying that they have to spellcheck.

So I pretty much agree with Watersong, partially with Sneezefur, but I must say one thing.

It is not rude for Sneezefur to bring this up; quite the contrary. She is merely giving us her voice in matters about the forum. What's wrong with that? I see where she's coming from, even though I don't quite agree.

ON THE MATTERS OF A ROLE PLAY SCHOOL, nobody would adhere to that xD I think that would make us too oppressive.

I suppose so, but we don't need to be accusing each other of being mean. She just stated it bluntly. She should have said that there are different levels of role players on here and that she wanted to get everyone up to the same tempo, but now I'm probably just making her sound a certain way for her benefit.

It was just an idea on her part. We don't need to make a huge issue out of it. There is nothing to reprimand nor criticize, and hopefully no one will be offended by all this. And of course, we don't know if she meant this in a cruel way. We won't know until she says so, and I like to decide on whether to be angry or passive until I know this.

Well put. In my newer opinion, if there were to be a 'role play school,' people would undoubtably get offended and think that the 'teachers' were snobby and cocky to boot. Also, no way anyone could rightfully manage it.

But like I said before, to me, she sounded more blunt than anything else. I suppose in a way it could be taken as abrasive, but if you try to be open about the reasons behind the idea, she was just trying to help the forum.

Also, again, as I have said before, it wouldn't be a bad thing at all to raise the bar on role play rules. It wouldn't kill or ruin anybody's day if we just made spelling at least a requirement. For no way can anyone tell me that you can't have proper spelling when spell check is a default installment/tool on your internet browser.
