XD, wierd, you know, The Last letter from War song. Fits in great with thsi movie!

I just watched, with my friend who is Korean, a movie called, Tae Guk Gui, i think which means Flag, The Brotherhood of war. Its about this two brothers who go in war, against north korea, and ITS SOO SAD.

Spoiler if you are going to watch that movie

In the ending., a house burns, purposly, where the younger brother is in. But he managed to live, but dropped a gift from his older brother. Which made the older one think that he was dead. He Killed the Captain, and ran away.
In the ending, the final war, The younger one meets his older brother in battle, tells him about the times they had together when they were young. The blinded brother becomes back to his normal self. tells his brother to run. He grabs a Turret, and fires back at the other side. Killing almost three quarters of them, before getting shot
The younger brother gets a letter ten years later, that they found the body... And there are flashbacks of what they did. Of how they were planning on making a shoe shop together, of how the older one made a great gift...

That does sound sad, Iceclaw. Your post reminded me of an anime movie I watched called, "Death of the Fireflies." It's about a teenage japanese boy who lives a poor life with his mother and little sister. After the Hiroshima Bomb, he loses his mother and later finds out that his dad died too, who was a captain in the japanese military and whom the boy admires greatly. The brother has to then take care of his sister alone in the chaos of the aftermath of the bomb. A spoiler would be that the little girl dies of starvation at the end. I swear it is the saddest movie. I cried so much at the end. It may be sad and gory, but it is still a glorious and well-plotted out movie.

I think i actually watched that anime loooooong time ago! but i only remember the boy and his sister, and standing by a... infected or something.. body
