The kitty-pets

Darkfoot and Lizardtail were roughly side-by-side as they nodded dutifully in agreement at their leader's words. Darkfoot joined Pouncestar, his eyes solemn and his dark tabby tail high. He glanced at his brother and Spottedbelly; the deputy happened to be somewhat distant from them, looking on expressionlessly. The dark warrior couldn't help but scan the camp for his sister too, but couldn't see her. This disconcerted him, but he managed to look impassive.

Lizardtail's green eyes watched Darkfoot with slight amusement, his envy of his brother having left with the darkness of the night before. Glancing around he meowed, "Come on, Moonsong, Emberwing... Foxpaw, you too!" He took the initiative of being the one in charge quite smoothly; he had always been a cat of control. Thinking about the chosen cats for a moment, he added, "Fawnpaw, you should come as well." His brother's apprentice needed to be put to work as well.

Darkfoot paused, his tail twitching slightly. He watched his leader leave with dark eyes before he glanced back behind him. He had to admit that he was crestfallen when he spotted a glimpse of his sister retreating into the medicine cat den without even personally saying farewell to him. He pushed it aside though; they had sadly never been that close anyway. He started to follow after Pouncestar before he was stopped by Lizardtail's voice; slightly gruff he assumed from being contradicted by the leader.

"Good luck," the tortoiseshell tom meowed, his eyes showing little if no emotion. Spottedbelly had managed to stand behind him, and Darkfoot couldn't help but notice how identical they looked. Darkfoot dipped his head to them both before finally padding out to catch up with the others. His morale had been given a slight boost thanks to his brother, but he had a feeling that it wouldn't go far once this adventure began to unravel.

Darkfoot trailed behind his leader and apprentice, his black ears flicking with every noise that could be heard. Hazel eyes scanned the ThunderClan border; the river was running smoothly, the usual torrent having simmered down to a peaceful flow. The dark tom expected for the small party to have to cross the barrier between the two territories for them to successfully continue on their escapade. Of course though, they would have to wait for Graystar and whatever cats he was bringing with him. The dark warrior shuffled his paws and blinked, a nervous feeling forming in his gullet.

OOC: Pouncestar, you need to seriously stop with the one-liners. I know this isn't your first warning, too. But please, in order to be respectful to the rules and the other roleplayers who are actually typing out really long posts for this roleplay, please make your posts longer than one sentence.
