Episode 1 : The Field
Spottedbelly sat among a field of short grasses and moss. Loose gravel lay everywhere. The sky was a pretty solid blue and the grass was green. Trees surrounded the hill and sloping field and left the huge expanse of the center bare. Yellow dandelions sprouted in random places as well. Spottedbelly's fur ruffled in the slight breeze and she gave a weird expression. "I have no idea why I'm here," she meowed. Icestorm she knew was with her. "I know this isn't RiverClan."
She turned to face the tom. Icestorm looked around before meowing, "hence RiverClan...RIVER. You're not of CreepyFieldClan.., and neither am I. Spotted...we got to get out of here!" They got a little jumpy as they looked around the giant field. Spottedbelly had a thought. "I don't know how we got here..." she meowed
as Icestorm stopped to listen, "but...don't you ever feel like...like someone's controling what you say or do...like on some giant word maker?" Icestorm turned his head to face her and sneered, "of course not! How ridiculous." As he turned Spottedbelly caught a worried expression on his face. "This way!" he yowled suddenly. The red and blue tom bounded forward and down the slope. Spottedbelly watched him lose control in his pawsteps as he ran, until he went headfirst into a roll down the hill. She watched him roll and roll and roll and then fly and then roll...and roll...roll...fly! then roll. "Ouch," Spottedbelly flinched and meowed as Icestorm collided with flat ground. Spottedbelly yowled down to him, "What is with you and falling?" She saw no movement from the red blur below. With a sigh she slowly padded carefully down the slope, while catching glimpses of trampled thorn bushes, branches, bracken, glass...When she reached Icestorm's side
she saw splinters wedged into his body as in: all over his back, in his paws, head. Spottedbelly tugged a thorn out of his nose as he groaned. He opened his eyes and rose to a sitting position, for he was splayed out before. Spottedbelly licked at a thorn on his shoulder before tugging it out as well. They took some time to get all the glass and stuff out before deciding what to do next. Icestorm shook his head still in a half daze. He wobbily padded forward and looked back with a angry look. Spottedbelly smiled as he spoke with annoyance. "Have you ever noticed how my "deaths" coincide with YOU?" "Hey Ice, you should know, that's why I'm so awesome. Yes. I am awesome like that." His eyes slitted. Spottedbelly began to walk past him while singing, "Damn all these beautiful girls,
they only want to do you dirt. They'll have you suicidal suicidal, when they say its over." Icestorm rolled his eyes as he followed her slowly. She kept a jazzy step and held her tail high. "See it started at the park, used to chill there after dark. Oh, when you took my heart, that's when we fell apart. Cause we both thought that love lasts forever." Icestorm kept his head down and his gaze to the side as he murmered, "lasts forever." Spottedbelly smiled broadly as she continued. "They say we too young to get that song sung. But we didn't care, we made it very clear. And they also said, that we wouldn't last together -last together- " "See it's very defined girl." "One of a kind." "But you mash up my mind. You want to get inclined. ohh, lawd, my baby is driving me crazy!" Icestorm paused as they both sang, "You way too...Beautiful girl. That's why it'll never work. You have me, suicidal, suicidal when you say it's over." Spottedbelly picked up, "Damn all these-" "Beautiful girls-" They both sang, "They only want to do you dirt. They'll have you suicidal suicidal when they say it's over." "Sean Kingston!" Icestorm meowed. They both continued. "It was back in ninety-nine, watching movies all the time. Oh, when I went away, for doing my first crime,
and I never thought that we would ever see each other -See Each Other- And then I came out, mommy moved me down south. Oh, I'm with my girl who I thought was my world. It came out to be that she wasn't the girl for me! -Girl For Me- See it's very defined girl, one of a kind. But you mash up my mind, oh you want to get the fine. Ooh lawd, my baby is driving me crazy! You way too Beautiful, girl. That's why it'll never work. You had me suicidal, suicidal when you say it's over!" Icestorm took the lead, "Damn all these beautiful girls. They only want to do you dirt. They'll have you suicidal...suicidal...SUICIDAL. When they say it's over." Spottedbelly took the solo, "Now we're fussing and now we're fighting. Please tell me why I'm feeling slighted. And I don't know how to make it better.
-Make it better- You're dating other guys, you're telling me lies. Oh, I can't believe what I'm seeing with my eyes. I'm losing my mind-" "-and I don't think it's clever! -Think it's clever- You way too..." The two cats chorused, "Beautiful girl..! that's why it'll never work...you had me...Suicidal...Suicide-" They ended the song on a breath and laughed. "Ooh!" Spottedbelly meowed while Icestorm walked on. He stopped and turned. "Hey, look at this," she meowed while pointing with her paw down at a wriggling fluffy thing. She let the thing crawl onto her paw and she raised it up so Icestorm could see. "It's a caterpillar!" she purred
excitedly as the little critter wiggled over her paw and down her arm. "It's so cute!" she laughed as the fluffy little guy squirmed up her back. Icestorm stared blankly as it's black head popped up from inbetween her ears. The caterpillar raised its little head and crawled centerly to her forhead and stayed there. "So it is,"
Icestorm meowed while rolling his eyes, "Now put it down." Spottedbelly and the caterpillar stared at him. She meowed, "But he'll get squished!" Icestorm looked around angrily, "do you see anyone to squish him???" "You," Spottedbelly mewed. The caterpillar wiggled and made her laugh. Icestorm sighed and meowed,
"Come on..." "Yays," Spottedbelly purred as she came to walk beside him. The caterpillar stared at Icestorm as Spottedbelly licked his cheek. "Yeah Yeah," he grunted as she went to focus on the caterpillar again. "I shall name you squishy and you shall be mine," Spottedbelly mewed. "Wait!" She screached. Icestorm froze as his fur stood on end. Spottedbelly padded up to his front paws with a whimper. Then suddenly she squealed with joy. She raised her head to show another fluffy caterpillar on her nose. She stared at it cross-eyedly until in settled itself next to squishy. "Awws," Spottedbelly purred as they continued across the ever-lasting field. "I bet you're a girl so I'll name you Squishette. You can live happily with Squishy and love each others forevers just like Ice and me."
"Blegghhh," Icestorm growled infront of her. The two caterpillars looked at Icestorm as Spottedbelly purred, "he loves me. He just denies things." They continued down multiple slopes and rises. "I will name you Bob, you can be Julie, you can be Felix, you are Taylor Swift, your name will be Moth, and you can be called
Icestorm." Icestorm stopped and growled without turning his head. Spottedbelly meowed, "Why won't you look at me?" Icestorm turned around to face her slowly. His eyes widened dramatically at the sight of her. Spottedbelly was completely covered in squirming caterpillars; all you could see where her eyes. "He-he, it tickles," she meowed. Icestorm gasped and meowed, "Spotted!!!" "I named one after you," she whispered. "Spotted that is it! No more. I don't care what happens to them, put them down and come on!" Spottedbelly whimpered as tears formed in her eyes. She laid down and when she hit the ground the millions of caterpillars wiggled off and circled around her. They all looked at her as she cried miserably. Those millions of tiny heads turned to face Icestorm as he stammered. He carefully waded through the sea of caterpillars until he reached Spottedbelly. Squishy and Squishette squirmed on her forehead, trying to make her laugh like she had earlier. Instead she still sobbed. "Spotted..?" She sniffed and looked up at Icestorm, "Umm, Er-I'm sorry about dissing your caterpillars," he meowed warily. Spottedbelly's tears came down more in rivers again. "I mean-" Icestorm stammered, "I mean I'm sorry that I was so blunt. Forgive me?" Spottedbelly just stared at him. He sighed and bent down to lick her forehead were the caterpillars no longer were. She purred but still said nothing. Icestorm shook his head with wide eyes at what he knew she wanted him to do most. Spottedbelly nodded as tears, again brimmed her eyes. "Er-" He swallowed, "I love the caterpillars, and-and...I think they're very cute." Spottedbelly smiled happily as she rose to a sitting positon. The caterpillars squirmed happily back onto her as they continued onward toward the trees in the far-off distance across the field. Spottedbelly hummed and swayed as the caterpillars lifted their bodies to flail their arms and wiggle their heads in the air. "I've got a pocket got a pocket full of sunshine, I got a love and I know that it's all mine-" "Not now Spotted," Icestorm meowed as they stopped at the top of a hill. "Kay," she purred.
