Battle with River and Thunder

"Ambereyes?" Spottedbelly meowed. The dark grey she-cat's eyes were wide open and enlarging still. "Spottedbelly...ThunderClan border...battle..." Spottedbelly couldn't believe her ears. The deputy was out hunting alone when Ambereyes had come upon her with the news. "Quickly," she rasped as Spottedbelly bounded toward Sunningrocks. Spottedbelly took no notice of the warrior no longer following her. No yowls could be heard from anywhere. Something called Spottedbelly to the other shore, though. So she jumped into the swift river current and quickly and cleanly swam across.

Hurricanefang and Whirltail were on noon patroll, and they were going straight for sunningrocks... Icestorm was just hogging behind them, complaining his tail off...
"Guys, my paws are sore.. aww guys, im thirsty. aww"
"JUST SHUT THE MOUSE CRAP UP!" Whirltail screamed at me.
I just stood there, when she said mouse, i quickly scented a mouse, not so fast.. i so got down onto a hunting crouch... and i saw it... enormous, ginormous! bigger than a vole! My mouth started to water like a waterfall, my eyes were glimmering... as i was about to pounce... i heard a screech... and yowl... and it was Hurricanefang and Whirltail's... and some other cats or cat.. fighting..
It lost my kill, but i didnt mind it, i quickly got up. and ran to the sight.. And it was.. Spottedbelly? Again?

Errr, It wouldnt be fair for her to fight three cats... so i shrank back...
"Hey! Arnt you that cat who almost got Ice killed.?" Whirltail twisted around and jumped back.
"Forget about that," Spottedbelly replied as she jumped at her.
"Hey! If you two are going to have the fun, i rather just sit here." Hurricanefang said grumpily.
"Get Over here and Help me you Mother---ing ---- -- ----!!" *joking! XD*
"Well she aint gonna fight me though... Saaad faacee." Hurricanefang whined.
"Ugh." Than Spottedbelly rushed Whirltail with tremendous speed, and jumped at her, crashing down like lightning.

"Awww." Hurricanefang looked at Spottedbelly, who was half exhausted."My turn now... ... I dont really like to fight, but for the clan!" Hurricanefang jumped...
I knew Spottedbelly couldnt take two cats at the same time... and it was... some chance...

I watched the two cats come toward me. I braced myself in my mind for the pain. I tried to dodge by being swift and using plenty of stamina. It worked, but not so well. Whirltail would gang up on me and Hurricanefang would reluctantly take the oppertunity to strike. The large tom cuffed me hard on the head. So hard that I started and fell backward. "I can't do this!" I thought.

I couldnt stand here and watch an unfair fight... so... my heart jumped... Without thinking, i jumped out to the clearing.
As Whirltail was about to bash Spottedbelly in the head for the final move... to remember... I screamed out.
"Whirltail! Wait!" I crashed into her sending her about six mouse lengths away.
"What are you doing?!" She exclaimed.
"Ill fight her.. there might be some other patrolls of Riverclan nearby, Go get back up! and you to Hurricane! Go!." I screamed at them both.
As i saw the last of the cats... i turned around and faced Spottedbelly, but i didnt unsheath my claws.. i just sat..
"Close call eh?" I looked at her, "Does that do for my repayment? Heh" I simply.. smiled..

I looked at Icestorm in amazement. I shook my head and meowed, "Yeah...it was." I shook my fur and closed my eyes briefly. I was ready to run away at any moment. "Thanks," I meowed. I looked into the tom's strange eyes and then looked down. "Ambereyes..." I growled softly with a boiling anger growing inside of me.

"Amber a who?" I curiously asked. "I donno what you were doin here, but... something looks wrong by your eyes. Is there?"

I looked into Icestorm's eyes once more. "Should I tell a ThunderClan warrior my troubles?" I thought slowly. I only saw pure concern in his eyes so I meowed, "This warrior at my camp...heh, she has it in for me. She told me something aweful terrible was going on that had to do with crossing borders." I thought of how I was breaking the boundary, and then the revelation of being lied to by Ambereyes...into a trap. "She planned this," I whispered.

"What?" I asked... Flabbergasted..." That is ridiculous! Why would she do that? Really?"
My eyes were wide open, a clan member trying to kill another... that is very.. ugh...
"You've got to tell Purestar that!" I whispered. "I know it isnt none of my buiseness... but i wish i could help... well.. if there is any other ways... just tell me... i know... im in a differant clan n stuff.. but.. i really dont think thats right.!"

"Thanks," I said softly, "but it's difficult to do such things. And my accusation is random at best. I must find proof before- ...well, if anything should be done at all
I should grow more trust for my new Clanmates. For we fight the same battles," I paused, "believe it or not."

I stared blankly at her for a heartbeat, than i heard cats coming... it was the Thunderclan Patroll!
But i could hear more than that... from the other side.. more Riverclan was comeing!
Oh no... it was going to be a massive war!
"Its a invasion!" I heard a voice from the Thunderclan side, "Defend!"
"You worthless mouse-dung! Kidnapping our deputy!" I heard the Riverclan side call.
Oh no... this.. is... bad...
THat was the last thought, as a weight landed on my back.
I rolled instantly, and looked at my attacker. By the look, it looks to be Ambereyes...
I pounced at her, but she dodged swiftly to her right, but i was quicker.. hehe. and swung my hind leg and her landing spot, knocking her into Tornadowhisker, who instantly slashed at her.
Everything around was happening too fast!

I was surrounded by members of my own Clan, but then suddenly they were flung aside. ThunderClan warriors threw themselves at me. Jaws seemed to be yanking and biting me all over. I could feel my fur get drenched in my own blood. I opened my mouth in a silent wail of pain. The hoarseness of my plea did not startle me as I heard faintly, "Help!"

The war cry rang through my veins and ears, and i couldnt hear anything.. but what i could hear, was a faint cry for Help, maybe it was one of my clanmates! I searched for where the cry was coming from and i searched everywhere around the Thunderclan side. I couldnt see anyone screaming for help, so i carried on my fight... but i heard the desperate call again. It was bothering me too much, so i looked around eveywhere, while trying to fight off another Riverclan cat.
Oh gosh, Spottedbelly, she was barely visible under the mound of blood... grr..
I threw off my attacker, and jumped deep into the heart of the battle to her.
I grabbed her by the scruff of the neck, and pulled her out. No one seems to notice me, so i pulled as hard as i could.. too slow, i thought for a moment, than tugged hard, and put her on my back. and ran from the battle, under a pile of undergrowth.
'Gr, come on Spotted, im going to have to go back to the battle, you just run if you can!" so i turned away... and ran back into the battle.

I could barely tell what was going on around me. I gaped and panted with fear and confusion. "Over here!" A voice growled. I saw the blurry image of two ThunderClan cats standing over me. They meowed loudly, but I couldn't hear for the life of me. I felt as if I was being lifted as I blacked out.

As i wrestled with a dark gray tom, Tornadowhisker was fighting side by side with Hurricanefang, furiously clawing at their oppoents, but still, gave each other words of hope, which i would need now...
Cats were fighting everywhere, and blood was flying everywhere, and this all blinded my ears and eyes.
Moonstar, Hedgehogfoot, and Dapplenose, our new deputy, was fighting with all their might, but was that enough?
"Moonstar! We need more warriors! We cant hold them off! we are out numbered!" I called out to Moonstar.
"grr... No, but Icestorm, get back to the camp and get us back up!" She replied as she clawed at a another tom.
"No, but I ll still fight, ill send Hurricanefang and Tornado." As i said their names, they looked up, i quickly sprang infront of them.
"Guys..."I whispered so that only they could here."There is a badly hurt cat under that bush there, take whoever you find, to our medicene cat. No questions please! And get us reinforcements!
Althought they gave me a curious look, they obeyed me.
I saw them fight their way out, and vanished...

*after*

A fresh patroll of Thunderclan warriors, Lightningpaw, Lightfang, Featherclaw, and Clawfoot. They all joined in the battle, saying, " FOR SPARTA!!! For Thunderclan!"
Good, and Hurricanefang and Tornadowhisker returned... The battle raged on and on...

I seemed to sway back and forth, like I was floating on the river on a windy day. The darkness frightened me and made me feel dizzy and small. I opened my eyes to find only blury objects before me. The four scenses came back to me slowly. The scent of herbs wafted around me and the overwhelming scent of Thunder-Clan. I choked on my own breath and fluttered my eyelids as I gurgled. Twitching, I felt a soft brushing along my side. A rumbling voice growled, "Shh. Peace, little one." I relaxed slightly and then tensed up again and shivered. As I tremored, I felt cracking along my skin. A gentle pressing was being put on her spine. I winced from the uncomfortable strokes and messaging. Thoughts of a dark grey tom with lighter grey stripes came to my mind. "Fallstep?" I thought. I opened my eyes slightly and caught a glance of the Medicine Cat that was tending to me. "Woodstripe," I breathed.

Now we were even, claws flinging, cats yowling... Too much blood was soaking the ground... Starclan help us... and Starclan, stop this... Too much blood is being spilt, grr..
"EVERYONE, STOPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*you mofos!*" I Screamed at the top of my lungs till i was out of breath.
All of the cats ceased fighting instantly, and looked up at me.
"Just stop, why the heck are we fighting anyways?" I spoke to the crowd.
"You cat-napped our Deputy!"
"They invaded our borders!"
"Grr!"
"OMFG U GUYS ARE SUCH NOOBS! well, ur deputy should be in your camp cause she might have not felt well, but u blame it on us?"
"that is a weak retort Icestorm.." It was Purestar, I just saw her here,"
"Well! She might be injured and ran back to camp u Mouse-brain! Now stop this fight!" I called out.


It was a long day... we were now, on our way back to our camp, all of us had scars and gashes, cuts and bruises. It was a draw i guess... And now... i couldnt think... Just want to sleep...

I washed my back silently while Woodstripe studied me. He meowed, "Good, You are geeting your strength back." I purred slightly. I heard pawsteps sound outside the den and I hissed softly. Woodstripe stepped foreward and meowed worridly, "They have returned."

As i walked with the rest of the group into our camp... I thought of Spottedbelly, uh oh... I got to tell Moonstar!
I fastened my pace up to Moonstar... and started..."Uh Moonstar, uh... well.. umm.. ive got a problem" I told her EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING ive done... but all she said was... "You did the right thing..." And left me...
I quickly ran over to the Medicene cat's den to see the silver-gray she-cat lying on the bed of moss..
"Spotted! Quick... I think i need to hide you, cause a horde of cats will come in any second! and woodstripe, anywhere to hide?"
"Um.. i guess so! In the herb area, which will hide her scent... lets go.. quick.."

Ker-chow, ping pang, pluup shiivvve, urghhh, Wah-BOOM! I found myself in the herb storage area. "What the ****?" I meowed.

"stop making such a racket Spotted!" I slapped my paw on her muzzle..."shhh.."
Spottedbelly was making such a racket, it almost brought all the warriors in here!
Gosh... and just when i was about to leave... Moonstar comes in...

"What in StarClan's name is going on here?" asked Moonstar, who gazed down at the wounded RiverClan deputy. "Spottedbelly is it? Aren't you... RiverClan deputy?"

I gulped. "I am," I meowed strongly. How am I going to get out of this!
