Spottedbelly awoke in a pitch black cave. She started and shivered violently for she had been here before. She didn't know she was still dreaming, but to her she was again lost in this void of rememberance and hate. Spottedbelly cowered and felt her eyes blurr from her fear. The darkness made her feel like she wasn't real, like she was lost to the ether for eternity. Thoughts flashed through her mind of death and of the almighty questions. She closed her eyes but found no haven. The she-cat rolled onto her side and curled into a ball. She whispered frantically inbetween sobs for the darkness to end. But deep inside a murderous feeling began to overtake her. She was lost in a memory, inbetween thoughts, left to rot. The touch of the cave floor and the emptiness of the cool air around her faded and all her senses dulled. Spottedbelly lifted her muzzle out from under her paws to see a light ahead. Desperate for anything that indicated light, she got up and bounded over to the blue haze. Stumbling but determined, Spottedbelly got closer and closer to the blue light. Suddenly her legs buckled and she fell head first to the ground. Collasping, she barely felt the numbness that succumbed her. She only paid mind to the blue form that was before her. "Hush now, warrior of RainClan," the form meowed. Spottedbelly blinked in amazement. The blue haze slowly took a shape...and it was of Webkit. "I've come back for you, Spottedbelly," he meowed with a tone far beyond his years. Spottedbelly stayed silent. "Come," Webkit mewed pleadingly. "But," she stammered. The kit looked fondly at his once fellow Clan member. "I...StarClan has sent Heatherstar and Fallstep a dream, they expect you," Webkit meowed. The she-cat stammered. "Yes, they know you to come," the kit meowed softly, "RainClan is where the heart lies for you dear sister." Spottedbelly was pulled somehow to her paws. "Travel with me," Webkit meowed. Other multiple voices trailed his as he backed up. Spottedbelly stepped foreward. "Think of them," Webkit meowed, "Think of them." Portraits of the cats she had left so far behind flashed before her. "You are tired of running, Spottedbelly, of that I am sure," an unknown voice meowed. It was Dawnstar. Spottedbelly nodded slowly as she walked toward the voice of Dawnstar with Webkit beside her. "You have fled and run for so long. Their are weights on your heart, keeping you from truly being free like all creatures should. Come to your home, and be of family," the voice paused, "come be under the skies of your heart's desire, come to our StarClan's forests." Spottedbelly nodded and was taken out of the cave, out of the forests, out of the soul...back to RainClan.
