at my religious friend. She called and we got into the subject of religion. AGAIN. She like freaking REVOLVES around religion. She lets it control her life like crazy. Anyways, she was talking about something she learned in church: "the more you sin the earlier you die," something like that. And then... oh my gosh, THEN, she somehow got onto the subject of my father. By the way, if you all didn't know, my father is dead. He died of cancer when I was seven at age fourty-eight. Well, guess what she says. She has the NERVE to SAY.. that my dad must of been horrible in life for dying of cancer. She ACTUALLY said.., that my dad must of been a wretched sinner and deserved the cancer due to him being a sinner. And just so you people know, my dad was a great man. He was amazing. He lived twelve years longer than expected by his doctors when he got the news that he had cancer. Back on the main subject, my so-called, "FRIEND" says, and I quote: "i don't know your father, but he must of been really bad during his lifetime to die and get cancer like that." ...LIKE THE GOOD Lord UP ABOVE FORSAKED MY FATHER. I.. am just. so. angry, right now. Beyond words. And this isn't the first time she's been miss offensive to me or my other friends. Like one time she told my friend off because her UNCLE believed in Greek gods. My "friend" got so worked up over it. She said that anyone who liked or believed in those gods were complete and utter idiots who would rot in hell. Oh, and on the topic of hell, she actually said that I would go to hell for not believing in what SHE believed in. Don't get me wrong, though. I'm a true-blue christian now. I believe in the bible and everything. But SHE. SHE.., she.. oh my goodness... ... she just can't stand anybody different from her. She'll hate anybody who isn't christian or isn't a STRONG christian. She hates my particular type of christianity, "methodist", just because it isn't strict or something. UGH, I MEAN REALLY. She'll hate anybody, ANYBODY, different from her. She looks down upon other non-christian cultures as if they were scum or some form of primitive society. And oh my gosh, don't get me started on how they're so many other people JUST. LIKE. HER. You know what, we don't know what happens to us after we die, and it's just plain stupid to mock other people for not being sure. Who knows? Everything we've grown up around.., everything we've come to know and accept, could be a BIG FAT LIE. Just stories. I may believe in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and the Resurrection and all that jazz, but I DON'T shut out everything else. I consider shunning other cultures for the sake of one is just being stubborn and rude. Is it wrong to look into different things? What? Is it impossible to learn about other religions and cultures and still keep the one you believe in now? ... I just can't believe how naive and insensitive my "friend" is. She can die if she wants to, and believe me, SHE WANTS TO. I don't care anymore. Just leave me the CROW FOOD alone. And great, now my mom is acting all concerned and getting up in my business. Everyone, just frick off for a minute, okay?
