Welcome to life in New York. Well, so basically its your life. You can live in NY how ever you want... you can be some drunk guy always getting arrested... or the rich and famous... but theres a twist. There are mystical creature disguised as humans around, hiding in the populations of normal people. Prolonged contact with these freaks, and you too can mutate to the likes of them.

Ren sat back in her chair, left leg resting across her other thigh. White bangs hid her sharp blue eyes, and a blue tipped mess of hair was drawn into a pony tail. Her rings clicked as she brushed away her bangs, checking out the passer-byers. "Whoa..." she gaped breathlessly, grabbing her trench coat and stuffing her arms through the sleeves. It brushed low on her calves, covering the back of her legs perfectly. She threw on headphones, although the i-pod was off, dangingly them around her neck as a accessory. The door chimes dinked as she walked out, boots clicking as she tried to catch up to the star.

Lunette looked in the mirror in disgust as she yanked her fingers through her long blonde hair. She worked as a maid, or a housekeeper as she liked it called better, for some sort of famous star. Tonight she was expected to be at some sort of fancy dinner party where a bunch of important people would be. She took another glance in the mirror and frowned at the stupid, raunchy maid outfit they made her wear.
'Hope Hugh Hefner isn't here tonight..' she muttered to herself along with a string of profanities. She slipped on some sort of low high heels and made her way out the door, only tripping about 3 times.

She sucked in her breath, chewing on her lip as the girl fled over the alley way. "Its New York, not gangster land lady."
Ren paused to glance around the street, gaze flickering back and forth from the distant faces and inanimate objects. Her fingers They were in the high end of town- rich places and fancy yards lined the road. Her fingers drifted up to her ears, covering them with shaking fingers. Suddenly they morphed, taking a furry pointed look. Her eyes drew to tiny slits as she listened for the tap-tap-tap of Enya's shoes, suddenly snapping her gaze up at the closer sound of heels. They didnt have the same sound as a large pallet of shoe, and suddenly her appearence turned to normal, avoiding the sound of heels as she back peddled around a corner, waiting for the lady to pass.

Lunette looked at the stairs in horror. How could she ever make it down there... In HEELS? She gulped once and gripped the railing. To her surprise she made it down pretty well. She turned down one of the 63464 hallways to see another set of stairs in front of her. 'Dammit.'
When she finally reached the kitchen her fellow chef friends eyed her suspiciously. 'I have to go to the dinner..' she said without waiting for a reply and stumbled into the dining room.
When she got in the room she wasn't late. Everyone was just being seated so there was not much attention on her stumbling. ~I hope I don't ever have to walk around while people are still here...~ she thought.
Through dinner she had *EMO* stamped on her forehead. She nearly counted the seconds until it was over, but it dragged on. Lunette was never that fond of diolies and fancy foods. She was glad she wasn't famous right now; she didn't want any attention from people because she would probably make a fool of herself. So she just watched the fat, lucky, rich people talk about their not-so-bad problems, sometimes gazing at the grand clock to check the time.

Obviously the person was inside on the of houses, and without second thought she jumped the alleyway, listening closley for the star. Take a few pictures, sell for some cash, and live for a few more weeks. Enyas voice boomed through her sensitive ears, and she snicked wildly, turning twoards the estate. 'Her brothers home too? Double score!'. She hiked up the road, humming merrily to herself. When the smell of wafting food hit her nostrils though, she stopped sharply. 'That... house...', instinct took over, bouncing carfully around the house. Bushed protected the area, but with a eay jump she made over, peeking up into the window. Ren stopped herself suddenly from laughing, 'Kinky maids...'

As the dinner party came to an end, Lunette scrambled out of the room. She stormed through the kitchen, up a few flights of stairs, and into her warm, familiar room. She swiftly changed into her pajamas. Some black shorts and a really colorful t shirt.
Every night, before bedtime, Lunette went into the backyard and fed this baby fox that kept shelter there. It was never noticed because no one but the gardener ever went back there. So Lunette made another trip downstairs and into the lush backyard.

This was a pretty rich house... she watched as the people cleared the room, listening idoly to their chatter.
