Emberwing strolled along the bank of the river, she watched as the tide ebbed from the rocky shore. She cocked her head to the right, what is life? She questioned herself. She looked up at the tall trees above her, twittering birds flew away in their graceful manner. With an exasperated sigh, she continued her monotonous walk...
Evening struck and Emberwing caught a flash of silver in the water. She had been out of camp for a while today and she might as well bring back some fresh-kill while she was here. As she slipped a white paw into the river and splashed out the wriggling fish, she felt a chill down her spine. She dispatched her prey quickly, and with sudden happiness flowing through her, plunged into the foaming water. The chilling clearness in the water made her smile, she dove under again, this time letting the river carry her body along the shore of the river. She opened her eyes, the sun shown brightly, though it was sinking beneath the mountains now, and the sky had a pale orange look. She gulped in a breath of fresh air and jumped back in the calming river. Water swelled around her and she swam with ease up the stream and back to where her kill was. Quickly, Emberwing slithered out of the water, soaked wet obviously, and shook the water out of her striped fur. She picked up her prey and padded back up stream towards camp. Then abruptly she stopped. This was the answer...this was life. Or, at least it was for Emberwing, and it seemed quite fine to her! ^^

btw, write ure own life! (wow, that sounded mean....)
