my totally awesome hw sonnet thingy...-warning, may be offensive!-

this is my sonnet i had to do for homework, since we were studying shakespeare an all! here it is (and i replaced my name for 'safety' precautions):


Green Trees, Blue Skies. . .

Green trees, blue skies it’s the world purified,

But we, the people, toss our trash around,

I don’t believe my God, my Christ had died,

To see His world engulfed in trash on ground,

And yet He loves, even though we do kill,

Green trees, blue skies it’s what I think is right,

Though we do toss, and Christ did pay the bill,

Did earth deserve to be not clean and bright?

To think such things of Colorado foul,

Then what have I become to be so rude?

Maybe if trees had a great voice they’d howl,

About God’s world we kill so really crude,

But to God, I’d make a deal and a lease.

For green trees, blue skies it’s my world in peace.
