Meh, a RP school is done on many sites and is quite effective.
It helps everyone to be at the same level, and it can also motivate users to actually role play adequately.

I regret Sneeze being yelled out by us for it when it was a totally logical and productive idea <<

It's... it's where a select group of members, normally a small group of members, give out pointers and technique and such about how to write. Not as in their 'style', but in grammar and spelling, etc.
