No, I didn't kill anyone. And no I'm not preggo, Lorlor. <_<
BUT IT IS A LONG AND WONDERFUL STORY AS TO WHY I'M SO DAMN HAPPY RIGHT NOW. <3
Alright. About 2 years ago for my birthday, I Was looking for new games and someone suggested the Phoenix Wright series. I did a little research, and saw that there was a new game coming out in an issue of Nintendo Power. Their little review of the game interested me, and I wrote down Apollo Justice; Ace Attorney on my birthday wish list.
My aunt was determined to get me this game since I wanted it so much, and she thought it was a really cool idea for a video game. Sadly, she couldn't find it anywhere. It was even sold on on Amazon.com; they apparently didn't make too many copies of the game cause most local stores said they weren't even ever shipped it. So instead a worked suggested Phoenix Wright; Trials & Tribulations, which is the game before it and I ended up getting that instead.
A lot of T&T is based off of the other two games before it, so I was kinda discouraged and confused at a lot of the game so I set it aside.I kept my quest for AJ up though, as the first two games are a bit old and hard to find. Finally, two weeks ago I found it at Gamestop used~ SO AFTER TWO YEARS OF SEARCHING, I PREVAILED!
I finished it about 4 days ago. I'm totally wrapped up in the series now, so I dug out Trials and Tribulations, and I'm almost done with it now. But nooowww, I WANNA KNOW WTF IS UP WITH EDGEWORTH. Since alot of the game is tied to the first two like I said before, so I went on Gamestop's site last night and looked for both games.
There's none for sale within 200 miles </3
While I sulked while grabbin' a snack, my mom got on the computer, and saw she had a half off coupon for Walden Books. The nearest one is a half hour away, so she suggested we go to the Green Bay Mall and use the coupon, since we don't get out there much. I said sure, and this morning me went. Not thinkin' much of the PW games since my trust in the site was strong, I just kinda plunked through the used games section, seeing what they had.
THEY. HAD. BOTH. ACE ATTORNEY. AND. JUSTICE FOR ALL. I was like "ajfhejagfega!!!!". I bought both of them. c: They had them but they just weren't listed on the site cause no one logged them!
THATS NOT ALL THOUGH. The dude that was checkin' me out was like, "These are good games but hard to find!" and I told him about my AJ hunt and he agreed it was a shame they were so rare. Then suddenly he was like, "DID YOU KNOW IN JANUARY THERE'S A NEW ONE COMMING OUT, THE EDGEWORTH ONE?" I told him yes and he did the usual Gamestop marketing act trying to get me to pre-order it, and I told him I would later when the date got closer. By this time he's distracted, and was handing over the games before I paid for them, and he's all like, "Edgey is cool. A nice character in the series. It's awesome he has his own." Then he realized what he was doing and I had to pay. Noooooo.
Now I was uber happy, and we were heading to Waldens. Now mind you I'm like broke since I didn't plan to buy anything as expensive as two video games. Well, I've been looking for Bleach volume 16 since April, and NOWHERE I MEAN NOWHERE HAS HAD IT. They didn't have it either. Well my mom was kinda pissed at that, since she'd been the one taking me to all the bookstores the past few months on the hunt for it. So she asked the lady if they had anymore. She said no, but then was like, "WE CAN ORDER IT AND SHIP IT TO YOUR HOUSE FOR FREE THOUGH!"
My mom was like, "AJUEHJAGGJEH YES!"
After coupons and stuff I only paid 2 dollars for it. And it's being delivered to my door. HELL YEAH. SO MY HUNT FOR THAT IS ALSO COMPLETE. <3
THEN WE GOT A CINNAMON SOFT PRETZEL FOR FREE CAUSE WE HAD A COUPON. DAMN THAT WAS GOOD. THEN WE SAW SOME FROGS FOR SALE AND SOME REALLY CUTE JAPANESE ERASER THINGS. THEN WE GOT TOM'S DRIVE IN. AND NOW I'M EATING GUM. THIS DAY IS AWESOME.
