Human roleplay.

I.T.W.N.T.Y. is a real life based rp, working on the flows of natural life and grievances, kids through high school or depressed heroin addicts. Your free to up to two characters, and the setting for this thread will be in a small town in Rhode Island, where my character is based.

ANYONE IS ALLOWED TO JOIN~

Rules:
- No GM or PP.
- Two sentence minimum.
- No magical people or morphs.
- Profanity allowed if you use it to justify your character.

He titled his head downward, dark locks sliding to frame his face. Even though there was a i-pod in his hands, scares and stretched skin blemishing the features, his eyes wern't looking at the illuminated screen. The song clicked to his choice, and he tucked the hair behind his ear, leaving his bangs to conceal his eyes. The words to the song longed to roll of his tounge, but he bit them back, blindly walking down the street, relying on old memories to keep his feet on stable ground.
"Snap snap snap snap your fingers for me...," rolled finally away from his lips, and they tugged upwards into a comfortable smirk, induced by the fantasy that roared inside his imagination.

Her fingers picked through a rack of clothes, her eyes flicking back and forth from top to top. She sighed impatiently and pulled something from it at random, undecided but to late to care. She set it on the bed behind her for later and swapped it for the jacket that was there. She threw it on in a hurry and buttoned it as she rushed down the stairs. Walking past the kitchen and the living room she hustled out the door of her house and into the bustling day. She ran her hands through her hair briskly, slightly perturbed that she had brushed it so horribly. She grasped the collar of her jacket then, pinching it close to her throat. Either it was her or that it was chilly outside that afternoon.

The curb rolled down from his feet, stumbling with his right to catch himself with his left. He popped the i-budd out of one ear with a quick motion, listening to the streets. It was silent except for the sound of foot steps ahead of him, so he crossed promptyly onto the sidewalk. Zenick tucked the accessory back into his canal, continuing his pace down the road. Suddenly his face met padded and squishy, obviously body but not exactly sure where, he pushed out promptly. "Watch were the hell your going, k thanks bye."

Ureu blinked and her eyes threw wide open as she slammed into him. She was in such a hurry that she must have had that coming. Then, noticing were he had stabled himself, she pushed him further away, blushing. "God! Watch where you're going, pervert!" Her long black hair whipped behind her as she turned suddenly to walk away. I'm dead, She thought angrily. The perv just had to bump into her to make her even more late.

Zenick took a step back, feeling her hair snip at his nose, listening as she stalked off. Suddenly a shade of red washed over him, and he shook his head vigourously. "Guh, chicks these days.., rubbing at his eyes self-conciously, heading back down the walk the way he had came, positive to steer clear of her. He thought for a second, there was a little cafe over here right?, he mused himself silently, struting down the alley for the main street, Panic! busting in his ears.

Ureu, embarrassed and hot-tempered, continued on her way to her job at the cafe. She remembered that sign clearly; that sign saying, "Help Wanted." She wondered why she even bothered to take that job, but she liked the pay, and boy she needed it. She had only gotten that job a week ago. Not wanting to get fired from this job, she went into a run, this time paying attention to passerby's so she wouldn't ram into them. The tap of her shoes on the sidewalk as she went was beginning to drive her crazy as she neared the cafe. Ureu gripped the door handle and opened it hastily, rushing in with cold air following close behind.

After making the final block, his fingers darted out along side him, feeling the slick glass against his finger pads. Metal. Slide up, handle. The door jingled like it always did, and he smiled softly, proud he managed to get the right building. Not like he was ever wrong though. His fingers barley peeked out of his pocket to help him find his normal table, seating himself on the cushions, fitting his ass like a well-worn glove. He already tilted his head slightly upward, bangs shifting so his violet eyes peeked carefully behind them, so that he would be looking at waitress when she popped up for his order. Leaning back, he tucked his i-pod out from his hoodie pocket, clicking the volume down a few notches so 'The Middle' didn't eat the usual waitress' dialog.

Ureu slipped out of her jacket by the counter and walked past her boss without a word. She seemed to not of noticed her arrival as Ureu tied a apron around her waist to indicate that she was a waitress. Only when she had knotted the strings to keep on did her manager turn and say, "Get to work. It's a busy day." Ureu blinked and grabbed her notepad, sighing as she walked up to a table to take the person's order. "What?" she couldn't help but say aloud as she say who it was. It was the same black-haired pervert from earlier. Eyes-wide, she wondered what she should do and finally ended up saying, "Er-What will you be having today?" Lame, she thought sarcastically, You just take the perv's order now. It just doesn't matter!

When her voice graced his ears, he shifted his head slightly so he'd seem more focused on her. "New gal? Your certainly not Crow, Zenick frowned slighty, [b]"'cone. Strawberry please, those rainbow toxins too." The teenager leaned back into the seat, flicking the mp3 up a few notches once more, so 'Nine in the afternoon' poured from the little budds.

Ureu frowned. Couldn't he recognize her? She heard Nine in the Afternoon play softly from his i-pod buds. She listened for a second, content listening to the words of one of her favorite songs, but quickly she jotted down his order but stopped at his last request. Her pen made a blot on the paper from her pressing the ball point on it for too long. She said warily, "Um, what do you mean by Rainbow toxins?" She was afraid that to him she was asking a horribly stupid question. Also feeling trepidation over the incident before, that yes, she still dwelled upon, she backed up slightly and still held the pen to the paper.

He rolled up his striped sleeves, revealing un-tanned arms and a knotted braclet. It was warm sitting in the sun, but he liked the sense of direction he gained from it. "Pronto please?"

"Ah! Oh...Um, yeah," she stammered, "I'll be right back." She gladly left to go take care of his order, regretting that she had asked about the sprinkles. "Acid..." she scoffed, resenting his tone. After taking a few other orders and going through routine for several minutes, to prick her nerves, his stuff was ready. She bit her lip as she carried it over to his table, fumbling with the strings to her apron. "Here, Sir," she said, setting the order down on the table nervously. She put her hair behind her ears with a finger, preparing to leave him be but having to stay to see if he needed anything else.

The table shifted slightly as the treat was set apon it, and his violet gaze shifted upward. "Sir? Blah, waitresses... wonder why they got rid of Crow...," he muttered softly. "Thank you." His fingers danced across the table till he could feel the paper jacket around it, picking it up shakily. He lapped at the top, sighing softly as he started to enjoy the sugary treat. With one hand he dug out his wallet, plopping it out onto the table. From the little clear pocket showed his legal i.d.; the disabled goverment card. "Theres only like 5 bucks tops in there... I think I can trust you to spoon out the dollar-twenty-five."

"Er..." She scooped up the wallet at his approval as her thoughts raced. Who on earth would trust a person they weren't even acquaintances with to take money from their wallet directly? Why would he even offer? She looked into his eyes questioningly, wary of him pulling something on her that she would make him regret. Then, she noticed that for the first time that his eyes were purple and pink. It phased her. Why hadn't she noticed that? She guessed that his hair had shielded that from her all that time, since it hung in his face. Was he blind or something?

The icecream wobbled, licking at his nose, and he groaned, wiping it away with the back of his hand. After cleaning away the pink proscessed food, he held his hand back out, wiggling his fingers for emphasis.

Useu placed the wallet back in his hand obediently, feeling even more resentful now. She whipped around and left, completely aghast1. I barely even know him and he's already impossible! She thought disdainfully2. Once she had placed the money where it had needed to be and stepped out from behind the counter, she placed a hand on one of the chairs nearby and searched warily for him. So he's blind? She had an unreadable expression as she rolled her shoulders. She had met and dealt with plenty of people with those kinds of disabilities3. It stopped mattering to her over time. The only thoughts she had right now then were of how peremptory4 and harsh he was. Of all the discordant5 people she knew, she had never so dealt with one so... sequestered6. Ureu groaned under her breath. Why did she care? She gripped the chair until her knuckles turned white in frustration. She let go quickly and traipsed7 over to the other tables to get their orders.

Zenick stuffed the worn wallet back into his pocket, finishing off the cone with much agusto. The boy reached across the table for a napkin- finger flailing for the paper tissue - but he met nothing. 'Stupid Waitresses', settling with using his dark sleeve to wipe self conciously at his face. The i-pod clicked, changing songs, and he debated if he should hang back in the cafe like usual. Crow wasn't working, he already figured that out, but the place was comforting, sister or not.

Ureu continued about the cafe, going through her normal workday other then the anxiety1 of him being there.
It gradually left her mind as more and more people came in. Busy as usual, she supposed, drains the life out of your mind. Drones2, she mused. When she had sauntered3 over to the counter the manager called her over. He handed her a cloth and said, "Your turn to wash tables. There's a big mess on that table by the window, by the way." He pointed and left her to it as he charismatically4 went to wait tables in her stead. Ureu blinked and sighed. The worst part of the job. Stretching, she went over to the vacant5 table by the window and breathed out as she cleaned it. Next he'll want me to mop the floors while there are still costumers here.

From the softer noises of conversation, Zenick could tell the cafe was half-vancant. Which means it was probablly around 2 o' clock... he got to his feet, Nike's squeaking on the polish floor, turning sharply for the door. He caught his jacket on the door's edge, yanking him backwars. "God dammit!," he hissed sharply, tugging on his buds. There was no weight attatched to the end. "Shit! My i-pod..."

Ureu heard a clatter at the door as she was wiping a table. She dropped the cloth onto the seat and saw her same rude lil' pervert1 having trouble. She saw something fall from his hands and she blinked, startled. His i-pod? He looked really stressed2 now that it dropped. She quickly paced over, half-worried to cause a scene but wanting help him as in being a good samaritan3. She bent over and picked up his ipod. It was still going like it had never hit the floor, the time bar still going... 2:00, 2:03, 2:08... Ureu quickly held it out for him to take it back, very afraid4 that he would bite off her head for touching it, or just for plain helping him.

"God fucking dammit...," his profanities quieted as he let the door close, slowly bending down in attempts to reach his i-pod. The waitress hadn't said anything, and was oblivious she had his music player. He reached out, squeaking as his hand ran over her shoe, comming to stand suddenly. His head nocked into his outstretched arm, and he crouched suddenly back down, cursing as he held his head in agony.

She held the door wide open with her foot so as it would stop banging into them. Looking out into the street1 momentarily and shivering from the cold blast of air the open door brought upon her, she looked down at him. Sighing, she bent down and grabbed his hand warily2, then placed the ipod in it and closed his fingers around it. She took her hand away quickly. "There. And don't worry, it's not broken3," she said as kindly as she could, trying to be polite although her better senses4 told her he didn't deserve it.

The wind nipped at his back, and Zenick shifted slighty to get out of the way incase someone was comming through. When he felt a hand connect with his, he recoiled slightly, relazing as the smooth plastic came into his grasp. "Ugh, thanks...," he muttered softly, getting to his feet. He fuddled with the end of his budds, finally connecting it back into the system. 'Getting away with murder' blarred at him, and he laughed softly. "Thank--". Doorframes arn't a fun thing to walk into.

Ureu gaped1 slightly as he hit the door frame. Feeling bad like it was somehow her fault2, she put a hand on each of his shoulders carefully and led him out. She still was fearful of him snapping at her, not forgetting the many sides3 of him she'd seen only these past few hours. Glancing in through the window, she shared a second of eye-contact with the manager4. He nodded and turned to head back to the counter. Ureu sighed. I'll probably have to work double tomorrow... She again let go of him quickly and backed up several5 paces.
