Alot of people on here have read the book eragon.... or at least I think. But for the people that have, they have also seen the movie. Now any person who has read the book first and then seen the movie have probably seen the the following errors...
1. zar'roc had a saphire as the gem on its hilt when it was suppose to be a ruby
2. they didn't even include yazuac in the movie wich was an important moment for eragon
3. the person who played angela was way to young ( and hot ) to be the wise, yet creepy , woman that helps eragon.
4. solembum ( hope i spelled that right ) wasn't in the movie! he was very important, he told eragon about the weapon under the menoa tree, the rock of kuthian, and the vault of souls
5. saphira grew to a full size dragon in like 2 days! and she already had her name wich isn't how it happened.
6. durza called up some black dark magic thing to fight eragon in the sky, they made that up!
7. they had soldiers in carvahall, but in the book they said that the mountains protected them from most soldiers.
8.murtagh's horse was gray not black
9. they didn't show arya and saphira breaking through ishidar mithrim to help eragon kill durza.
10. in the book they rescued arya after brom died, in the movie they rescued her and then brom died
