Her heart seemed to fly out of her ribcage as she gasped for breath inbetween strides.

Her pursuers were on her tail, or so she thought. She almost swore that behind her she could hear their paws hit the ground.
Thistlewing felt her legs buckle under her from exhaustion.
Falling, she turned to stone as she sensed cats encroach upon her.
As soon as the anticipation and impending doom became too much to bare.., Thistlewing woke up.
