Gathering Time

Diamondfur peered over the cats. She padded over to ShadeDapple and greeted him (half abscently). it had seemed not many shadowclan cats had came, but there were enough. "Hello ShadeDapple, Is all well in Shadowclan?" That was a question that seemed to come up most at gatherings, sometimes it got annoying but she was asking it. No one has seen many cats of other clans in a while. Diamondfur was partly excited to hear the gathering start.

Shadedapple looked at her through the corner of his eye and meowed irritatedly, "ShadowClan is perfectly fine." He grunted, turning to face Diamondfur head-on. "Looks like Spottedstar's a little sick."

Wolfrun tensed and he could sense Sunstripe doing the same beside him. He kept a keen eye on his mother and the other leaders and Brambleclaw. He felt Arcticsong and Pinefall squirm beside him too. Ever since they had been left in RiverClan's care they never left Sunstripe's side. Wolfrun found it weird, and even confronted Sunstripe about it a couple suns before. She had said that she didn't mind having a few shadows, and that it didn't bother her. It only bewildered Wolfrun though. Suntripe stepped forward, seeming to be genuinely concerned with Spottedstar. She looked back at Wolfrun desperately. Wolfrun only shrugged. Spottedstar could handle this sickness, he was sure.

Diamondfur looked at Spottedstar and hesitated with the response" ... ya" Diamondfur had paused to consider what could have caused Spottedstar's sickness, many possible things could have happened, she decided to not say what was on her mind." must have been a bad peice of prey" she murmered half to herself and half to ShadeDapple. She was now looking at the ground.

Sneezestar walked into the clearing, and looked up at the leaders. She walked over to the rocks and jumped up, feeling brave.

Thistlewing padded up behind ShadeDapple, swerving to stand beside him and the RiverClan deputy. She smiled warmly, glad to be around for her sister's first gathering as leader. She fidgeted as she caught wind of what Diamondfur had said as she came up. "Heh, er-I'm sure she'll be alright. She's strong, right Diamondfur?" She didn't wait for a reply as she sat down next to ShadeDapple. The Clan already knew him for having a temper, and she planned to moderate it tonight for Blackstar's sake.

Diamondfur decided to sit next to Thristlewing during the gathering. Diamondfur smiled. "Yes, she'll do great." She sat quitly awaiting for the gathering to start.

Hollowmist flicked her tail over Tansyfever's flank as she purred. The tabby warrior had noticed that Sneezestar had finally arrived. That cheered her up considerably. With a yawn, she sat down close to the high stone, smiling politely at Spottedstar, in a very happy and blissful mood.

Spottedstar looked down towards Hollowmist with a warm expression, glad to see a good friend around who wasn't looking at her with obvious concern. She truly felt better, and now that she had collected her thoughts, she meowed, "Sneezestar? Why don't you go first this time?"

Crystalheart padded up next to Diamondfur, "hey what'd i miss?" she whispered. She gazed at the cats. "oh my gosh! there are so many cats!" She hissed scilently to Diamondfur.

Diamondfur jumped alittle. Crystalheart had suprized her. "oh hey, um well i thik all the clans are present." she looked around," yep." Diamondfur sat quitly next to Crystalheart.

Crystalheart stared blankly at nothingness then, "Hey what is Spottedstar gonna say?" She was dieing to know what was going to happen at this gathering.

Diamondfur shrugged

Gray-green eyes stared at the rock but the she-cat was now worried about her leader and the scene that happened before the leaders had perched themselves on the rock. The tabby glanced over at the medicine cat wondering if everything would be alright.

Lonemoon nodded to Sweetdreams trying to assure herself that everthing would be fine once this gathering was over. Looking around at all the different cats the warrior felt a bit dizzy from everything that was happening. Her pelt was a silver instead of gray due to the moon in the sky.

Diamondfur sat. The wind howled in the coolness of the night. The moon was full lighting the clearing. The leaders stood proudly upon the rocks (?). The grass beneath her crunched. the leaves rustled. "Sweetdreams? may i talk with you over there?" I waved my tail at an empty space in the back of the clearing.

As i glanced around, i caught something on the corner of my eyes, something big, with fangs, bigger than anyone of us...
I turned to look straight at them , "And who might be intruding this peaceful gathering?"

Diamondfur was about to talk to sweetdreams but then followed Blazingstar's gaze. Diamondfur's eyes widened just alittle but returned to normal size.

I silently stalked behind the others because I am not too good at leading. When Sacrati was spotted by one of the leaders my heart stopped, after all there were way more cats than wolves at the moment.
