The Gathering...

Purestar glanced down at Icestorm(it shouldn't have been changed!) and then at the sky, soon she realized that most of the stars were covered. 'Wait!' she yowled across the clearing. 'I have something to warn you all about. Lately I have noticed starclan is hiding...' She placed her self more comfortably. She looked twords starclan, only half of the deceased(sp?) warriors watched over them now. 'I want you all to join me, look up. Look twords Starclan. What do you see...?' she asked softly, her voice shaken.
She had been right, the polution from the twolegs had covered half the sky, could this be an omen? Her eyes shown with fear, tail twitching nerviously as the clouds of fume overswept the night sky, leaveing them to be swallowed in the darkness. She held her breath as she studied the monsterious clouds. Finally they had past, driftning on across the sky. Though she knew there would be more to come.
'I just felt this needed to be shared with the rest of you.' She stated politely as she backed behind the rest of the leaders, slightly glancing at Skystar.

Naw, joking, i see stars.. not many, still stars.. covered with Two-leg pollution?

She glanced twords the sky once more, remembering her mother. A flashback shot threw her mind of her mother's body laying in the snow. Her eyes clouding up with fear and uncovered emotions. 'That's what I was afraid of...' she whispered softly.

Ice(something) looked up to the sky, following all the other cat's glances.
Than what does this mean?
Starclan is hiding from us?

Spottedbelly trembled slightly. "If I am deputy then I need to be stronger..." she thought. She raised her chin slightly but still held herself with dismay. With a glance at Purestar Spottedbelly wondered if something more challenging were about to occur...in a sense of faith and honor. "I make no sense," Spottedbelly meowed quietly. More loudly she said, "Maybe it is time to close this Gathering, or if the next leader would speak StarClan will let the clouds pass." Furystar hissed at her from the highrock and yowled, "you have no place in this discussion!" Other RiverClan warriors yowled in testimony. A WindClan warrior stepped up and yowled, "so a warrior who risks its life everyday has no say in its Clan affairs?" "Yes," a ThunderClan tom yowled, "a deputy can't speak out? If RiverClan's
second in command can't have a say then who can?" Yowls came after that. Spottedbelly saw Purestar gaze at the darkening sky. The full moon was gone.

Lower your voices...
Do not make Starclan angry,
and i agree too cats of clans, we all should have the privilage to speak freely, as i am speaking right now...
Now lets get on with this.. or is it over?

Purestar glared at Furystar with the most un imaginable hate. 'You have no right to speak to my deputy that way!' she rasped, her hackles rasing. 'Spottedbelly is right! If Starclan is angered by us then this gathering should be ended.' she looked twords the sky once more, her ears flattening against her head as the stench rolled by in a dramatic form. She coughed slightly, the fumes carried through her lungs and trapped in her nostriles.

Lets go back before this starts a war!

"Perfect," Spottedbelly thought as cats around her began to follow their leaders back into their territories. "I have a wonderful way of conversation," she mewed sarcastically. Angry at herself, Spottedbelly looked toward her leader for further instruction. Already on her paws though, she padded over to Purestar nonetheless like a deputy should.

As Riverclan left, Icestorm looked up to his own clan leader to look for the sign to go.
*waits a while*
Dododo
*blink*
*cough*
Shuffle Feet.
Fidget.

"Well I guess the gathering is now over since the moon is covered..." said Moonstar. She then flicked her tail as a sign to head back home.

Spottedbelly padded silently beside Purestar as she listened to the rustlings of her fellow Clan members in the forest. The way back to camp seemed long and hard to her. She sighed and let Purestar pull ahead of her.

Purestar slowed down a bit, letting Spottedbelly match paw for paw. 'I was proud of you tonight. Not very many can speak there mind, you have a gift.' she whispered softly, nudging her cheek, as to give her comfort.

With graditude swelling in her belly, Spottedbelly thought about how wonderful it was to be a loyal warrior in RiverClan. Holding a more sturdy regalia in her appearence, Spottedbelly thought the better of what had happened at the gathering, and that it was something to reflect upon.
