The fourth Gathering

*well no one started it TODAY....*
*remember.. im sinister...*
This.. would be the second time? would it?
Lousey gatherings... what a waste of time it is..
Just another time to accuse each other, and rip each other's fur off.
Now i dont want to be caught disobeying the warrior code would i... and the bad reputation i would get..
Whatever.
I still led the Cats of Thunderclan into the clearing, and of course nobody is here yet but us..
I grunted, than jumped up on the great rock, just waiting for the other mouse-brained clans, that forgot to be punctual... why do we even have gatherings.
WHat a drag..

With a swift flick of my tail warriors of RiverClan flooded down into the gathering area to mingle with the already arriven ThunderClan. "Ooh, I'm not late after-all," I purred as I bounded in to join them. "Looks like we're waiting on WindClan and ShadowClan," I thought passively. I went straight over to the 'great rock' and hopped up to stand beside Blazingstar. "Greetings," I meowed, trying to be friendly. I looked out over the groups of cats and saw my daugter, Sunpaw.
I remembered then that Wolfpaw couldn't come tonight because of his bum leg. I sighed as I too sat down to wait for the other Clans.

"we are wasting the night while waiting for those absent minded clans to come. Why bother hold a gathering if half of us arnt going to show up!" .. I growed sinisterly...
I gave a deep sigh of annoyance, and looked away to the clearing of cats..

"Where is everybody?" I allowed myself to hiss aloud, "Furystar and Sneezestar are usually never this late." I couldn't help but feel much anger inside of me. This was my first gathering as leader of RiverClan. I sighed; perhaps it's just going to be a fruitless night.

Jadestream looked around the clearing, the absentness from the other two clans seemed so awkward.

With the recent kitting of sneezestar, Brambleclaw lead windclan up to fourtrees, awaiting for the nights answers. She took them up over the steep slope until they could finally see the tall rock that all the leaders sat upon. She stopped to let her clan filter in the missing space while she took a moment to think. "Let the night begin and end in peace" Brambleclaw send a quick message to starclan before she entered inside the shelter of the four big oak trees. She set her gaze on the mighty Rock as she watched the leaders make themselves comfortable, getting ready for the gathering to begin. "I wonder if I should go up there" Brambleclaw mewed to herself as she took a seat on the hard, cool ground.


Are we in fourtrees or the other place?

"Thank you watersong, I will be on my way." Brambleclaw showed no enthusiasm but on the inside she was so excited to be up on the great rock with all of the leaders. The cold rock made her jump as she set her paw down. As she reached the top, she stared down at the other clans in awe. " Hello there spottedstar and blazingstar. Sorry we are late." Brambleclaw appoligized, but then relized furystar still did not arrive at the gathering yet. "What an amazing view." Brambleclaw meowed quietly to herself.

I laughed quietly, my own nervousness ebbing away by the minute. "Greetings, Brambleclaw. I heard that Sneezestar just had kits; tell her that I said...crongratulations." Blinking, I added to myself, "the night will be overwith soon..."

'Aw hello Watersong! Hows the prey running?' she smiled.

'Pretty much everything is well... By the way, My name is JadeSTREAM now!' she exclaimed, 'I am a warrior.'

Jadestream purred in amusement, 'Im not sure... These gatherings always take forever..'


*LEADERS ARE WELCOME TO STEP IN AT ANY FRICKEN TIME XD*

"ShadowClan still isn't here..." I spat. In frustration I turned to Brambleclaw and Blazingstar and hissed, "Well? Should we start this thing without them or forget the whole thing?" My claws were unsheathed as I waited for their answer.

"I think we should begin the gathering with or without shadowclan. There is no use tuning back now, three clans are all ready here and settled for the gathering! I dont know how much longer starclan is willing to stay here for this gathering, so lets begin," Brambleclaw hissed, with a twang of fury in her voice. She was just as tired as all of the other cats, waiting for this gathering to start. Sneezestar is still waiting back at camp. Even though she didnt really have a choice of whether to come to this gathering or not, she still needs to know all the information, Brambleclaw thought."Ok, who is willing to start, i am not a leader, so I think one of you two should," Brambleclaw appointed the other two leaders quickly.

"This goes against my better judgement at times, but alright," I growled, "This gathering begins now. With or without ShadowClan." To the cats below I yowled, "This gathering begins now! I know that ShadowClan is absent, but I think that you would agree with me that we must carry on without them." I gave a quick nod to Brambleclaw, indicating that she should go first.

Brambleclaw paniced at first, not ready to go. "Prey has been good and the days have been warm. Our greenleaf is going well so far and no complaints. As most cats know, windclans leader, sneezestar, has kitted recently and could not come to the gathering." Brambleclaw looked over at spottedstar and blazingstar for their response.

"That is very nice to hear," I meowed politely to Brambleclaw. Loudly and proudly, I said my report. "RiverClan has been doing great. The fish are plentiful and our warriors are as strong and healthy as ever. We have even named some new warriors and apprentices"-I meowed their names-"We expect to have a great greenleaf as long as the river flows strong." I purred; content with my speech.

"we too have named warriors, (says names). We have also have had many new clan members come to windclan. Kits, mainly..." brambleclaw opened her mouth to say more, but no words came out. she back down from the edge of the rock to allow blazingstar to go. "sorry blazingstar" brambleclaw whispered to the two leaders.

'So far this has been pretty good...' whispered Jadestream to Watersong.

i gave a loud snort, and stood up. "Thunderclan is well, we have two new apprentices and a warrior... named, Arcticpaw, and Pinepaw, and jadestream.. also, we have a new medicene cat apprentices, named Tanglepaw..." I concluded my so called speech, and stood down...
waiting impatiently on the great rock, for the awkward silence among the clans...
The best gathering yet... i thought sarcastically..

I shot my glace down at the leaders, noticing Blazingstar 's sudden change of air... hostile..
whats gotten in to him?
As i was slowly brooding... Hurricanefang was bored enough to yell out...
"CAN I BE FURYSTAR?!"
Everyone turned their gaze at him.
"ehehehe.... SHUT UP HURRICANEFANG... What? no one said anything. i didnt hear hurricanefang yelling out a name."
