Brambleclaw swiftly shot her head to the right when she heard the crunching of a rabbit bounding across the hard, dry grass. Your mine! Brambleclaw thought. She slowly crept along the high grass shortly after the rabbit had stopped. She didn't move here stare once from plump animal. Just as she was ready to pounce, a mouse came skidding across in front of the rabbit, who ran away from shock. "Rats! Mouse-brained rabbits!" Brambleclaw cursed under her breath. She sighed and straightened her self up in an up-right possition and began to walk back to camp. These rabbits are running low this greenleaf, thought brambleclaw as she returned to camp, with no prey.

Jadestream stalked the river courtly as if expecting someone there. She had always come to visit this spot because she felt a special connection; perhaps StarClan were trying to speak to her? The past few seasons she had been so CONFUZZLED confused and lonely. Her mother Moonstar had passed away, and her aunt Purestar abandoned the forest. She had no more kin there but her ShadowClan father and brother, and her mother's other sister Spottedstar in RiverClan. She wanted to be with them so badly so maybe, just maybe, she could feel a connection to her mother. Though she didn't want leave because she wanted to be loyal to the warrior code and to her mother's clan. Jadestream slowly layed down near the waters edge and padded her paw through it.

After a few moments of silence to herself Jadestream got back up to her paws. She was too deep in thought to keep track of where she was going. Her paws kept going and going when suddenly, she realized she was almost at Fourtrees. 'Well I might as well keep going, no one else cares.' she muttered. She crossed the river on a half broken log and almost plunged into the water. But she landed safely near the Owl tree. She kept on making her way to Fourtrees, and when she got there she heard rustling from the WindClan border. 'Who's there?' she called out as frightened as a mouse.

"Don't worry, its just me!" mewed a voice from behind the tall grass. Scarpelt appeared from behind the rustling grass. "What are you doing here? You almost got caught! There was a patrol that just passed by here a few seconds ago, but you are allright now. Is everything ok? You look worried about something!" Scarpelt meowed fast and quiet.

'Oh ok. I thought it may have been a fox! Thank StarClan it's only you.' she said. 'Sorry I am just taking a stroll, I wasn't going in your territory.'

"of coarse! With all this tall windclan grass, it kinda gets to ya
after a while. Hunting here is kind of hard, so yeah. I like to go
right up to fourtrees at our border somethimes," meowed scarpelt, while
shuffling her paws.

Spottedstar dipped her paw into the cool rushing water of the river that seperated ThunderClan and RiverClan territory. She yawned, tired from the recent patrol she had been on with her deputy and warriors. Alone in the forest, close to the water, she felt completely at peace; analyzing the memories of her day. Everything seemed at peace.

Hollowmist stalked a rabbit. It sat beside a heather bush, taunting her. "Todayyoudie!" she yowled as she sprang upon it. "Stupid rabbit!" she spat as the thing eluded her claws and slipped out from under her. Hollowmist knew it was futile to chase after it. She sat down ungracefully and growled.

"What's wrong with me?" Hollowmist groaned. She hadn't caught a rabbit in a while...in fact she hadn't caught a decent piece of prey in days. She felt like she was letting down her Clan a little. That feeling lasted only five seconds as she saw a rabbit poke its nose out of its hole and then disappear completely again when it caught her scent. "You know what rabbit? I would like you more if you were on fire." She spat.

Scarpelt pricked her ears as she heard hollowmist's angry meow. She pured with amusement at the sight of hollowmist behind her a ways hidden behind some grass.

Hollowmist lashed her tail. "Can I help too somehow?" she meowed over to them, "I can't hunt rabbit and patrols just wear out the strength in my leg."

Jadestream had been absent from camp nearly all day so on her way back she had to be extra careful. She ran as fast as she could without making a sound.

"Sounds good to me!" scarpelt mewed, as excited as a kit. She followed watersong to gather some herbs. "What will we need?" She asked.

"Nothing spiky, prickly, pointy, or red... Got it!" Hollowmist meowed as she came to stand beside Scarpelt. "If you find me dead choking on nightshade, then leave me be for crowfood."

"aw, come on! we would never let that happen. ur such a great warrior. The clan needs you, injured or not! Anyways you shouldnt travel too far away from watersong, but i am no medicine cat." Scarpelt mewed,"Off to get some herbs! I will put them in your den. Is that alright watersong?"

Diamondfur eagerly watched the still water of the river. Eagerly awaiting my moment to strik the shadow in the water. At the moment i was striking i heard a twig snap behind me, i didnt catch the fish, but i think something a little more important was happening. i turned around to see...

Sneezestar was running through the forest at top speed looking at her only target: the lean rabbit in front of her. She knowns to not chase a rabbit because you will never catch one, but she was going to prove who ever said that wrong. So close! Just a little bit more! She was just about to grab it when she heard loud yowling coming from her camp. As she ran as fast as her tired-out legs and her heavy breathing allowed her. As she ran into the entrance she looked for the screamer. She was dissappointed when it was her own kits play-fighting over a ball of rolled-up moss. She then smiled and laid down in front of them and began to play with them, as she slowly regained her breath.

... DOG!!!!!!! Diamondfur ran rapidly through the forest doging trees and rocks. The dog was rigth on her tail sturing the dust behind it. She ran into the river and swam upstream. But the dog continued to follow. She flailed her paws wildly in the atempt to survive. Gasping for air as she padded on. Finally she came to Land on her side of the border. While the dog tried to regain land, Diamondfur sped to the nearest tree. This will buy me some time, she thought. The dog paded around the tree eager to have a meal...
