Oh, Starclan! What to do? If i run to camp for back up itll foolow and put everyone in danger, but if i stay up in this tree i will die and the dog will be loose in the forest! Then she knew what to do... She bounded from tree to tree makeing sure the dog followed her. Then she lunged, flinging herself and the dog into the rapid flow of the river. They fought not only to kill but to stay alive. She knew the River got deeper and flew even more rapidly at the mouth of it so she attempted to fight off the dog in the water till the bottom disappeared. Being a Riverclan cat She knew the path of the river, at one point the river would steep low and brake off. She went one way as the dog flowed off into unknown teritory. She grasped land. Blood soaked and dog bitten, she limped back to camp eagerly looking for Sweetdreams for herbs.

Sneezestar heard the growling of a dog and the yowls of another cat. She jumped up and ran out of camp and ran over to the edge of the moor, where she heard the barking. She saw the dog go down in unknown territories and then saw the cat clinging to life, walking back to her camp. Instintively she went over to the cat and said, "Are you okay? That must have been scary."

"Help, me" Diamondfur gasped, "Air, Dog, Blood, so much blood" Then Diamondfur collapsed on all fours trying to regain breath again

Sneezestar grabbed the young warrior by her scruff and pulled her by the river. How was she going to pull her across the river if she wasn't strong enough? She then quickly set Diamondfur down. "Can you cross the stepping stones by yourself?"

"... yea i... i think i can..." Diamondfur stumbled alittle, swaying this way and that but managed to stand and walk. She numbly hopped from one rock to the other. but in the middle lost her balence and crashed to the water. She was able to cling on to the moss of the rock but how long could it hold?

Sneezestar did the stupidest thing EVER! She jumped into the river which was very strong today and tried to pull Diamondfur onto the rocks. It wasn't working. She let go and the held her in place with her claws. "HELP!!!! " sge screamed, hoping a riverclan cat would come and help.

Spottedstar bounded through the trees; just notified of what was going on. She made her way over to where Sweetdreams was standing and meowed hastily, "What in the devil is going on?" Then she saw Sneezestar in the river. "What in StarClan? Oh look, a WindClan cat trying to swim!" She was so surprised and confused that she didn't know what to do. She went over to them and helped them out.

Diamondfur's bones felt as if they were ash. Her eyes were heavy. She heard a voice that reminded her of the huming birds back at the abandond diamond shack where she was born. She knew she was dreaming. One minute she was falling in thee river the next she was dreaming of her kitten ages. Her mother was outside. Diamondfur steped outside to see her mother walking away. oh no, its a flash back! Then her mothers image faded away. "come on children time to take you home" she said. Diamondfur glanced over toward her sisters and her brother. they were playing witha a butterfly and then they faded away as well. Starclan, oh dont let me go through this again!!! "mom? mom?" Diamondfur asked the darkness."shes so skiny will she live?"my sisters taunted. Memories flooded back. memories of her mother and things she said, "Come along now children ok time to settle who is in what clan!" and the worst thing she said was before she left, "Mama? what clan will i be in?" Diamondfur remembered. "You arent going in a clan" her sister asked a question to her mother. her mother simplied answered, "She is to weak, she wont last the night, whats the point of trying if shell die? come on now leave your sister alone in peace." Then she stompted off. Diamond remember the nights she cryed for her, but she never came. Diamondfur rembered her first friend she told her birth story too. her friend said " Im sure you must have heard wrong, and i am sure she did everything to help you." "she left me there to rot!" diamondfur sneared. Yes, all the memories of childhood wondered back into her mind. She knew her sisters and brother were still in the clans, and her mother, she could care less. She thought i was weak, that i would die, she was wrong! Now look at me! I'll show her im strong, I'll show my family whose weak! She felt the energy flow through her. She opened her eyes to see Sweetdreams and Spottedstar. Sneezestar was there too and was wet. She looked around confuesed. Then she remembered, the dog, th river, the rocks, and Sneezestar helping her. "Thanks Sneezestar" I breathed.

Spottedstar laughed and placed her paw gently on the young leader's head. "You're already saved," she meowed. Flicking her ears back, she thought for a second before meowing, "Are you strong enough to make it back to camp on your own? Do you need an escort..?" She trailed off with her suggestions. Swishing her tail, she knew she'd do whatever she could to help her friend. Blinking, she glanced at Sweetdreams quickly as Sneezestar gave her reply.

ILL SAVE YOU!! exclaimed the Crimson Chin as he and his bulky crimson chin busted throught the trees. *Heroic chin music plays* XD

(XD) Diamondfur coughed, choking up a water. She spat the left over water to the side and frowned, she was wet, not just wet, but soaking, I hope not alot of people are in camp, they might think I decided to swim with twolegs! She shook off water from her coat and turned into something compared to a fuzz ball, then she started to lick down her fur. "I think we should help Moonstar home, who knows if there are more dogs."

Spottedstar looked at her deputy. "She's having a day off," she thought with a sigh as she turned to Sneezestar again. "Can you make it back to camp?" "Or atleast across the river.."

Diamondfur let out a scilent hiss under her breath, but continued to show respect.

Spottedstar's eyes slitted as she looked down at Diamondfur again. She let out a hiss that she could certainly hear. Lashing her tail, she spat, "And what was that?" She felt very slighted; Spottedstar hissed again. "I suppose I shouldn't care then and just of left you in the river!" She didn't care if she was being volatile in front of another leader. Her warriors did not hiss at her.

Diamondfur looked up at her leader, "I am sorry Spottedstar, next time I'll think about what I do" She breathed, giving in to her angery stare, it was extreamly disrecpectful of her to hiss at a leader, her leader. she quickly recovered from her guilt, trying to hid the pain as she streightened up.

Spottedstar blinked and then curled her tail in amusement. "No need, Diamondfur. I wish to pardon my outburst. If it weren't for Sweetdreams over here you'd see a very crazy leader. Being placid most of the time attacks the nerves, you know?"

Jadestream watched from behind some tall ferns. She smiled and turned around to see the CRIMSON CHIN laying on the ground. Dead as a doorknob.

Diamondfur smiled, understanding she said, "Yes I know what you mean. Thank you for the help."

Sneezstar was angry at the young leader. "I can make it across the river! Don't doubt me Spottedstar! You will regret it. I do think an escort is a fine idea though. iI'll have an escort."

Spottedstar felt her fur rise and her tail lash in response. She almost snapped back at her but then meowed, restraining herself, "Fine then. Sweetdreams, would you mind sparing the time?"

Diamondfur watched sneezestar with intrest, was that a threat? nahhhh
