Gathering (a little late)

He straightened up slightly, "W-We dont know. Last we heard he had had Greencough but R-Robinwing wouldn't tell us anything. Our D-deputy is gone too", he looked away, resting his gaze to his paws.

"Our leader is non-existent if you ask me," ShadeDapple mumbled only loud enough for Jinkoleaf and his other Clan mates to hear. "We don't know what has become of him," he meowed to the Riverclan leader.

"He's missed two gatherings now and I'm sure no one has heard from him," Spottedstar meowed calmly. She felt almost sympathetic for the ShadowClan cats. Having an absent leader is tough. She should know.

Watching that conversations going on in the gathering, brambleclaw limped in to the clearing to sit down. She was caught in some bracken, not able to get out, all because of a rabbit that would help feed the clan. She bowed her head in disappointment as she relized how late she was for the gathering.

Diamondfur whished her tail furiously, "Are they going to decide who is the leader between the cats who are present?" Diamondfur whispered to Brambleclaw.

"It isn't that simple," She sighed. "The deputy, I am guessing, is gone as well. We'll have to figure out something. Although this is ShadowClan's problem and should be dealt with on their own. But since there are so few warriors and that Furystar has been gone for so long, this is now everyone's problem. For the future of the forest Clans, the four Clans, we must decide." (Someone post other than me(please!))

Spottedstar took a really really deep breath and almost imploded with exasperation. "I just don't feel right choosing your leader. You need to decide amongst yourselves. Now. Have at it." Spottedstar felt her brain melt slightly. I'm loosing IQ points here!

Thistlewing nodded. She trusted her sister's faith and loyalty. She said nothing though, not wanting to be mistaken for showing signs of ambition.

Diamondfur purred, somebody stood up for Shadowclan. She eyed the other Shadowclan warriors, surprized that Thristlewing haddent sat up. But who am i to question that? She was loyal, thats expected, she would be a good leader, but omething didnt seem right.

Spottedstar:

She waited to see the other warriors reply and the approval of the leaders. Blackheart had Spottedstar's acceptance, but what about the others?

(lets get this thing over with) T^T

Okay I'm ending this thing.

Spottedstar slammed her paw down and yowled, "I, Spottedstar, leader of RiverClan call upon StarClan to look down upon this gathering and approve of the Clans' choice for ShadowClan's future. Blackheart, We all herby proclaim you as ShadowClan's new leader. Yay. Blackstar, wee. All right, Now we can all go fucking home so we can live on with our horribly. short. lives!!!! Thank you very much! Diamondfur get my coat!"

Spottedstar waited patiently.

Blazingstar was just watching with a repugnant smirk on his face. He loved to see other clans in trouble. 'Shadowclan... should just choose. Are they so weak they can't decide? Are they so weak they leave it up to the RiverClan leader? Not to stir up a fight or anything... I mean, I would NEVER want ShadowClan to be driven out.' he said with all of his hate and sarcastic anger.

Diamondfur sat up ready to leave any moment.

Spottedstar blocked Blazingstar from her mind as she meowed, "ShadowClan is not weak. It never has and it never will. The blood of TigerClan flows too strongly within their veins." She paused, "It flows strongly within all of us. Especially within these four ShadowClan warriors before us now." She took a deep breath and meowed with a voice that sounded worn by the ages, "It is time for ShadowClan to move forward. For us all to move forward. Blackheart, you shall be leader for as long as Furystar is presumed dead. We expect to see you as Blackstar, forever supporting your Clan and always there. I leave you to yourself, to do what you now think is best." Spottedstar stood up forlornly and raised her tail for her RiverClan warriors to rise as well. She hopped off the bigstone(?) and prepared to leave.

Shadedapple looked at Blackheart now with new respect. Finally they had a leader who would be there to represent the Clan. Or at least so he hoped.

Thistlewing purred. She knew Blackheart would be a grand leader. Strong and cunning and not the least malicious. She thanked Spottedstar silently for actually taking action to help them, but that only reminded her of Blazingstar's stinging words. She growled and cursed herself. ... Our blood runs thin.

Jinkoleaf nodded, "I-I'd except you Blackheart as leader"
